UC, XU Join Hands for BRIDGES Walk on Oct. 27 and UC-XU Day at the Freedom Center on Nov. 10
The UC Bearcats and the Xavier Musketeers men's basketball teams will meet for the 66th consecutive year for the Skyline Chili Crosstown Classic, on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at U.S. Bank Arena. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.
Leading up to the game, UC and XU are collaborating on events in conjunction with the Freedom Center:
- A UC-XU team of student will walk together in the BRIDGES for a Just Community Walk on Saturday, Oct. 27. UC's student team is led by Lane Hart and interested students can sign up through the Student Government registration site: http://uc.edu/sg/bridges
- UC-XU Day at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
