UC Clermont Heads to New York for USCAA Volleyball Nationals for 8th Year in a Row

The UC Clermont Cougars are headed for New York. For the eighth consecutive year, the UC Clermont volleyball team has been selected to play in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national championship tournament in Canton, New York.  The team departed Wednesday, Oct. 30, to compete for the national title.

UC Clermont was one of eight teams which received at-large bids and one of only two Division II teams to be selected to the Division I tournament. The team will join host SUNY Canton and the winner of the Penn State Athletic Conference to round out the field. Clermont was seeded No. 5 overall and will begin pool play on Thursday, Oct. 31.

“I’m very proud of the kids for everything they accomplished this year,” said Clermont Head Coach Joe Harpring. “I’m glad to see them rewarded for their outstanding record.”
