PNC Bank has Completed Renovations to the On-Campus Branch

PNC, the University of Cincinnati's banking partner, has recently completed an extensive renovation to their on-campus branch in Tangeman University Center (TUC), level 3. The enhancements will position the bank to better serve the entire UC community, including faculty, staff, administration and affiliates. The renovation, underway since November, was completed over the winter break. Among the many enhancements are the addition of a second cash-accepting terminal within the branch. Both terminals are spacious desks to allow customers additional comfort as they perform their banking and discuss their accounts. Two new banking offices have been added to the branch as well, both of which will accept check deposits and offer customers added privacy. Two iPads have been installed in the lobby to allow customers additional online and mobile banking and demonstrations and tips on how to access and manage their PNC accounts on the go. A total of five new HD digital information displays have been installed throughout the branch, as well as all new seating areas and chairs. Perhaps most importantly, all employees working within the branch have received extensive training to become Financial Consultants. Each PNC branch employee can now help customers with any need or question they may have, from running a simple deposit to performing loans and having informed discussions about retirement goals.

PNC would like to invite all employees and affiliates of the university to come and see the new branch. There will be an open house from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9, featuring coffee, hot chocolate and breakfast in the morning, and popcorn in the afternoon. Stop by to take a tour of the new branch and learn more about these exciting enhancements.

From 7 – 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, PNC Bank representatives will be in the lobby at University Hall, providing coffee and breakfast for employees on the Uptown East Campus. In addition to learning about the new branch, experts from PNC Mortgage and the Bearcat Card will be on hand to discuss topics such as buying or re-financing a home, or setting up payroll deductions to your Bearcat Card account.
