Blackboard, UC’s Learning Management System, will be updated in July to ensure the security of student data and to address known issues users may experience. This is a repeat attempt of an unsuccessful update on May 4.

The update is scheduled for Wednesday, July 4, beginning at 7 a.m. Changes are expected to take approximately four hours to complete. During this time, the Blackboard system will be unavailable, but is anticipated to be restored by 11 a.m.

Scheduling considerations have taken into account that UC is closed for the Independence Day holiday during the downtime.

If you experience any difficulties with Blackboard before or after the update, please contact Blackboard Student Services by starting a chat or calling (513) 556-HELP and select option 3.
