UC Law's Small Business Clinic and Duke Energy to Host Free Legal Clinic

University of Cincinnati College of Law’s

Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic

(ECDC) along with Duke Energy are hosting a free legal clinic on September 9, 2011 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the law school.

Called “Free Legal Advice to Better Your Business Event,” this first-time event is an opportunity for local small business owners and entrepreneurs who may not be able to afford legal advice to speak with attorneys about their business issues. Participants can get up to a 30-minute consultation with an attorney in the following areas:

  • Contracts
  • Business start-up
  • Litigation
  • Real estate
  • Tax
  • Labor and employment
  • Environmental
  • Intellectual property.

ECDC students will be working alongside Duke Energy attorneys, assisting them.
