UC Law's Small Business Clinic and Duke Energy to Host Free Legal Clinic

Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic
(ECDC) along with Duke Energy are hosting a free legal clinic on September 9, 2011 from 1:00 5:00 p.m. at the law school.
Called Free Legal Advice to Better Your Business Event, this first-time event is an opportunity for local small business owners and entrepreneurs who may not be able to afford legal advice to speak with attorneys about their business issues. Participants can get up to a 30-minute consultation with an attorney in the following areas:
- Contracts
- Business start-up
- Litigation
- Real estate
- Tax
- Labor and employment
- Environmental
- Intellectual property.
ECDC students will be working alongside Duke Energy attorneys, assisting them.
All small business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to attend this free event; businesses are encouraged to register ahead of time. To register or for more information, call 513.556-0117 or fill out the form here.
