Khyati Shinghal
Khyati Shinghal is a fourth-year student at the University of Cincinnati, pursuing a BBA in Business Economics and Information Systems and a BS in Business Analytics. During her time at UC, she has focused on helping students see how economics shows up beyond the classroom by connecting academic concepts to real-world experiences and career pathways.
She served as President of the Undergraduate Economics Society, where she grew meeting attendance by 160% and expanded professional engagement opportunities, including organizing visits to institutions such as the United Nations in New York City, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, and Morgan Stanley. Khyati completed 3 co-op rotations at Morgan Stanley in Wealth Management, gaining experience in portfolio management and investment strategy. She has also been involved with Scholars of Finance and Net Impact and served as a PACE Leader supporting transfer students.
Khyati was selected as a Ruhr Fellow in Germany, where she worked as a research and strategy intern at the University of Duisburg-Essen for two months. She also participated in a faculty-led study abroad program in Zurich, Switzerland focused on blockchain and its applications in global finance. She is a Kautz-Uible Nandita Jena Fellow, King’s Scholar, University Honors student, and UC Senior 100. After graduation, she aims to work at the intersection of sustainable finance and public policy, focusing on how capital can be allocated to support long-term, inclusive economic growth.
