Author John Jeremiah Sullivan to visit UC Clermont

Event proceeds will go toward student scholarships

Author John Jeremiah Sullivan, a Guggenheim-grant winning essayist published in The New York Times Magazine, GQ and Harper’s Magazine, will visit University of Cincinnati Clermont College to raise money for student scholarships on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Sullivan currently lives in Wilmington, N.C., and is southern editor of The Paris Review and author of the books “Blood Horses” and “Pulphead.”

The event, titled “An Evening with John Jeremiah Sullivan,” will include a reading and talk by the author and begins at 7 p.m. in the college’s Krueger Auditorium, located in the Peters-Jones Building on campus. General admission is $5.

For $50, guests can attend the talk and a VIP opening reception at 6 p.m. that includes a signed copy of Sullivan’s latest collections of essays, “Pulphead.” Proceeds go toward funding scholarships for UC Clermont students.
