Brass Taxi Brings Big Band Feel to UC Concert Series
Starting off the new year for Raymond Walters Colleges Concerts at RWC is the band, Brass Taxi on Saturday, January 24. This fine-tuned musical machine is fully equipped to take you on a thrilling ride through musical time from the 1930s to today.
Audiences will be delighted with pieces from Benny Goodman and Ella Fitzgerald to Andrew Lloyd Weber and Chicago, with a little Reba McIntyre and Santana thrown in for good measure.
The group has appeared with or provided background brass for Mary Wilson of the Supremes, the Mama and the Papas, Harold Jackson, the Ink Spots and a variety of other singers and bands.
Single tickets are $9 and go on sale January 5; group rates are available.
All Concerts at RWC performances are at 8 p.m. in the Raymond Walters College Theater, 9555 Plainfield Road in Blue Ash.
