Don French, mathematics professor, and Steve Kleene from the College of Medicine have been awarded a three-year $168,638 NSF grant for their proposal entitled: “Identification of Ion Channel Distributions in Olfactory Cilia by Mathematical Modeling.”

Alan Sullivan, professor of anthropology, and Bob Frohn, associate professor of geography, received full funding of $40,000 from the National Park Service for their proposal “Testing the Regional Reliability of Spectral Signatures of Archaeological Phenomena.”

Rhys Williams, professor and head of sociology, appeared on WVXU’S “Cincinnati Matters” to discuss commemorations of the anniversary of 9/11.
