Different Strokes by Different Folks presented by the Clermont Art Guild in Park National Bank Art Gallery at UC Clermont College

Different Strokes by Different Folks presented by the Clermont Art Guild will be featured in the Park National Bank Art Gallery at UC Clermont College from July 9-29, with a reception on July 26, 5-7 p.m.

Members of the Clermont Art Guild, a local community-based group of artists founded in 2001, are currently exhibiting a variety of art work made from multiple mediums including -  pottery, oil paintings, handcrafted jewelry and wood boxes. Participants include Barbara Corwin, Helen Flowers, Sally Fox, Sue Grant, Virginia Hall, Jean Kearns, Hilda Krueger, Dee Stiner, James Stiner, Karen Trautmann and Anna Trautmann. 

The Clermont Art Guild is made up of members who together possess many years of fine arts experience - from professional arts educators to freelance artists, art hobbyists to a current art student. “I hope that guests to the show are thoroughly entertained and that this show inspires them to make their own strokes,” said President Barbara Corwin. The exhibit also features recycled art and two interactive pieces for visitors of the exhibit to enjoy. The Park National Bank Art Gallery is located in the Snyder building on the UC Clermont College campus in Batavia at 4200 Clermont College Drive. Summer gallery hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., closed weekends. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
