UC East Dedication at Former Ford Plant Thursday, Oct. 28 at 2:30 p.m.

A dedication ceremony for UC East will be held on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at the site of the former Ford Plant in Batavia.

 

 

UC President Gregory Williams will be joining Deans Greg Sojka, Andrea Lindell and Larry Johnson to dedicate the facility. Tours of the facility will immediately follow the dedication ceremony.

UC East, a Clermont County expansion in the former Ford plant in Batavia Township, began offering classes in the fall of 2010. UC leased two floors of the former administrative building, consisting of 81,000 square feet of office space from private developer IRG. UC’s Clermont College occupies the first floor of the space, while UC’s College of Nursing as well as the College of  Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services will occupy the second floor offering a number of bachelor degree completion programs at the site including the popular bachelor of science in nursing and CECH’s Paralegal Studies.

 

UC Clermont College's Allied Health programs include: Surgical Assisting, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapist Assistant, EMS-Paramedic Certificate, Medical Assisting, and Multi-Skilled Health Technician.
