Adults Aged 50+ Can Register Now for Noncredit Courses Through UC s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
Registration is now open for noncredit courses offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Cincinnati. The eight-week session begins April 1 and is open to all adults aged 50 and older.
OLLI offers adults the opportunity to enjoy lifelong learning in a social environment but without tests, grades, or homework. Most courses meet once per week for eight weeks. Others last just for a morning or lunch hour.
For one fee of $85, students may register for as many classes as they desire. Offerings range from such traditional college subjects as math, philosophy, creative writing, science, and history to courses on financial planning and downsizing to such eclectic subjects as wine appreciation, opera, bee keeping, tai chi, and harmonica.
