Telehealth Robot Visits State Capital

UC College of Nursing telehealth robot "V-Go" made a stop at the Statehouse in Columbus Wednesday, April 22. 

His visit was part of an information reception planned by Maple Knoll Village, Springdale, and UC College of Nursing and UC College of Engineering and Applied Science.

UC faculty and students, alongside representatives from Maple Knoll, showcased current technologies in use at the Innovation Collaboratory on the Maple Knoll campus and engineering students also shared details about sensors they are developing to help older adults age in place.

UC and Maple Knoll Village have a 30-year history of working together in nursing, medicine and pharmacy education and practice. Their partnership was made official through the signing of an affiliation agreement in April 2015.

UC undergraduate collaborates with Swiss university on drone research

Prissha Chawla, undergraduate student at the university of Cincinnati, is double majoring in computer science and statistics at the College of Engineering and Applied Science and College of Arts and Sciences. Now preparing to graduate in the spring of 2026, Chawla’s journey at UC has been full of impactful experiences. Since she arrived, she has had the opportunity to participate in a new international exchange program with a university in Switzerland, present at an international conference in Prague, co-op with Delta Air Lines, and much more.
