Doctoral Study Lounge Posthumously Designated in Honor of Susan...

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Doctoral Study Lounge in the College of Nursing s Procter Hall celebrated both a new collaborative study space and the legacy of former PhD Director Susan Elek, PhD.  More than 50 students, faculty, staff and friends of the college joined the Sept. 26 celebration, led by current director Donna Shambley-Ebron, PhD.

New Curriculum in Place at the College of Medicine

When incoming UC medical students took their class oath on Aug. 12, 2011, they pledged to "adapt with a changing environment." It seems fitting for the class of 2015 to make this pledge as we mark the first year of a new curriculum at the College of Medicine. One of the most appreciable changes in the curriculum is the integration of hands-on clinical training in the first year.
