American Historical Association Remembers Winkler

The University of Cincinnati's 23rd president, Henry R, Winkler, who died Dec. 26, 2012, was memorialized in the March issue of Perspectives on History, the journal of the American Historical Association, by his colleage, Emeritus Professor Roger Daniels.

UC Moves a Step Closer to Engineering Cells Via Foam

The groundbreaking research of Hyo-Jick Choi, UC research assistant professor, was recently featured in the February issue of Nanotechnology. Choi and his colleagues have discovered that ranaspumin-2 foam the foam nests of frogs shows potential as a biochemical reactor. This discovery brings us a step closer to the reproduction of in vitro engineering.
