The University of Cincinnati Career Development Center will present the Ethnic Student Career Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 2. The fair is open to all students and all majors. Sponsors include Ameriprise Financial, Cintas Corporation, Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, Fifth Third Bank, Messina Staffing, and Wal-Mart Stores.

One of UC's most far-reaching assets celebrates 25 years of service to the world community when the Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights at the UC College of Law hosts a special weekend of programming on Nov. 4-5. Highlights include a reunion of program graduates, a conference on "Lawyers in the Pursuit of Justice" and a celebratory dinner where Dr. Radhika Coomaraswamy, former UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women, will receive the William J. Butler Medal in Human Rights.

"Cincinnati's Largest Garage Sale" takes place on Saturday, Oct. 29, when UC's Surplus Equipment department throws the doors open for its annual Clearance Sale and Auction. The event runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Campus Services Building at 2900 Reading Rd. Thousands of items covering a variety of areas will be on sale, and a silent auction will also be held for unclaimed items from the UC Department of Public Safety's Lost and Found.

Experts from The Neuroscience Institute will speak at "Success with Your Epilepsy," a half-day symposium covering issues relating to both pediatric and adult epilepsy. In addition to providing information about resources in the community, the symposium will cover causes and effects of epilepsy, new treatments, family and caregiver issues and coping methods.
