With an 18-year background as a medical transcriptionist/secretary in Pennsylvania, she assumed the role of clinical assistant for the section of neuroradiology within the UC College of Medicine Department of Radiology in 2006. Here she tells us about why she enjoys coming to work every day.

UC's Magdalena Szaflarski, PhD, and the community partner agency IV-CHARIS have been awarded a grant from UC s Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST) to create and evaluate education and prevention programs and mobilize the local faith community to address HIV/AIDS in high-risk, African-American neighborhoods.

Focus On Students With Ifeanyi Nzegwu

Ifeanyi Nzegwu who is about to enter his second year of medical school at the UC College of Medicine has known since age 10 he wanted to be a physician. He was recently selected for the American Hematology Oncology Society s 2012 Minority Medical Student Award Program.
