Russ to Succeed Hamant as Faculty Rep to Athletics

Effective Feb. 1, Senior Vice Provost and Professor of Marketing Fritz Russ will become UC's next faculty athletics representative for Bearcat Athletics. Russ, who was appointed to the position by UC President Nancy L. Zimpher, succeeds the retiring Nancy Hamant, who has served the university in that position for the last 21 years.

Wednesday Lecture: Partnerships for Health Social Action

Schensul, senior scientist and founding director of the Institute for Community Research, will be featured in a lecture sponsored by the Action Research Center, housed on the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services. Schensul's research in the United States, India and other countries addresses social and structural factors related to learning, cultural development and acute and chronic health problems.
