Poet Matthew Guenette to Visit UC Clermont April 4
The UC Clermont College Poetry Series will welcome poet Matthew Guenette on April 4.
Guenette is the author of three full-length poetry collections: Vasectomania (University of Akron Press, 2017), American Busboy (University of Akron Press, 2011) and Sudden Anthem (Dream Horse Press, 2008). He is also the author of the chapbook Civil Disobedience (Rabbit Catastrophe Press, 2017). Guenette has held residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and the Hessen-Wisconsin Fellowship. A graduate of the master of fine arts program at Southern Illinois University, he currently teaches composition and creative writing at Madison College in Madison, Wis.
Guenette will be on UC Clermonts campus for a Q&A with the author at 10:10 a.m., followed by a poetry workshop at 11:15 a.m. in the Student Services Building, Room 240, and a reading and book signing at 1:25 p.m. in the library. A reception will follow the events, and books will be available for purchase.
