Working off campus? Download AnyConnect, UC’s Virtual Private Network (VPN), which securely connects you to private or restricted online services on the UC network from off-campus locations

Get Things Done

Microsoft 365 is a collaborative, cloud-based suite of productivity tools that are accessible to all UC students, faculty, and staff. This all-in-one service incorporates popular Microsoft apps including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote, and Teams.

Bearcats Landing is UC’s faculty/staff intranet. It offers online access to critical university information, documents, tools, and resources. Find quick and convenient access to all the links and tools you need to get your job done.

Canvas maintenance set for July 15

Canvas, the university’s learning management system, will be unavailable for up to an hour during an overnight maintenance window that begins at 3 a.m., Wednesday, July 15.

Microsoft 365 improvements coming to UC this summer

Microsoft is introducing a few small updates to improve your email experience and how files are shared externally. These changes are automatic, expected to have minimal impact, and require no immediate action for most UC students, faculty, and staff.

UC DTS delivers on Wi-Fi expansion — more developments to come

In the spring of 2023, the University of Cincinnati's Digital Technology Solutions began a multi-year project with goals of enhancing wireless connectivity across campus. The improvements focus on ensuring robust and reliable wireless service in key student areas. Buildings with the highest traffic, such as residence halls and academic buildings, received upgrades first. UC's goal remains to ensure comprehensive wireless coverage in all university spaces and maintain network adaptability, to meet evolving university needs.
