UC College of Law welcomes prospective students for fall open house
The University of Cincinnati’s College of Law admissions team is hosting its fall Open House from 12:30-4:00 p.m., Friday, Nov 9. All prospective students will have the opportunity to learn more about the college and all it has to offer. Students and their guests will:
- Meet College of Law Dean Verna Williams and learn about her impressive legal career
- Hear from law faculty about their careers and teaching philosophy
- Learn what it takes to get into law school at an interactive forum
- Meet current students and learn more about law school life
- Learn about the importance of building a professional portfolio starting Day One of law school with the team from the Center for Professional Development
- Meet alumni, attend a mock class, tour the law school and more!

Richard Horton and Nancy Smith, two exonerees of the Ohio Innocence Project at UC Law, speak with WYSO about wrongful conviction. OIP was founded in 2003 and is continuing its initial purpose: working to free every person in Ohio who has been convicted of a crime they didn’t commit.
