Mike Schueler has always had a deep commitment to the community. As president and CEO of the Schueler Group, a real estate company located in Southwest Ohio, he spends every day serving his clients and improving the community by delivering projects seamlessly, on budget and on time.
On Oct. 4, Schueler was recognized by the University of Cincinnati's College of Engineering and Applied Science at its annual alumni awards dinner. Schueler received the college’s Engineering Technology Award of Distinction, which recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions in the professional field and has a proven personal commitment to the mission and vision of the programs in what was formerly the College of Applied Science.
The Schueler Group is committed to building the future, and Schueler is the driving force behind this commitment. His ability to select properties, with an eye toward growth and profitability, is the cornerstone of the company’s continued success. The Schueler Group consists of a number of real estate, development and construction companies – a trifecta that allows the Schueler team to serve as the single point of contact for all projects. The group’s reach extends beyond Cincinnati, overseeing projects across numerous states, from Michigan to Maryland.
Schueler is also president of Henkle Schueler & Associates, Bunnell Hill Development Co., Peabody Development Co. and Big Mike’s Gas ‘N Go, and chairman of Bunnell Hill Construction Co.
Schueler’s presence is felt beyond real estate and construction projects, as seen through his philanthropic work in the community. This work is seen in his dedication of time and resources to both service and arts organizations. Schueler has been recognized for a number of honors for his community involvement. These include the opening of “Schueler Field” at Mount St. Joseph University; the title of “Man of the Year” for the Warren County United Way; induction to the UC Ohio College of Applied Science Hall of Fame; and reception of the 2015 UC Distinguished Service Award. Schueler is actively involved in the UC community, serving as a member of the CEAS College Advisory Counsil and on the UC Foundation Board.
Schueler earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and his MBA from the University of Chicago. He received his PhD from Mt. St. Joseph University. Schueler’s success with the Schueler Group and his commitment to the community fully embodies the mission and vision of the former UC College of Applied Science.
