Last chance to help us find 200 people who are #HealthyUC
Share a story about a faculty member, colleague, a classmate, a coach or an administrator who inspires you so we can recognize and reward them for being #HealthyUC
A life of well-being doesn’t happen overnight, and it doesn’t happen solo. We know that there are many people across campus who are making healthy lifestyle choices and affecting those around them each and every time they do so, and we want to recognize them.
Being #HealthyUC doesn’t mean being perfect. It means making an effort to living a better life. Representatives from Be Well UC, Campus Recreation, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Health Promotion & Education (College of Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services), Human Resources (Benefits), Student Wellness Center, and University Health Services have come together to request that you take just five minutes to tell us why someone in your life at UC should be recognized as being #HealthyUC.
Take just five minutes out of your day to do something good for someone else. The deadline to submit your nomination is March 15. Visit this simple form to submit a name, email and a brief reason as to why you want to nominate the individual.
Three randomly drawn individuals (one faculty, one staff, one student) will earn a prize pack. All 200 people will be recognized in April.
Thank you for sharing who inspires you.

As a kid, at the age of 10, Marty Schiff’s dad gave him a Kodak Brownie movie camera, and that led to a lifetime of creating stories on film. So later he did, with $200 in his pocket, and began a career that has spanned acting, directing, producing—pretty much everything with the exception of costumes (“I’m not really good with a sewing machine,” he says).
