On Aug. 31, 2019, at about 2:20 a.m., police responded to the 2000 block of Vine Street for a report of a burglary that occured at about 1:45 a.m. Two UC students witnessed two suspects open the door to their apartment, which was unlocked, then run when they saw the students.
As two other UC students returned home, they saw three suspects run past them. Upon entering their apartment, they found their backpacks, laptops and a pair of gym shoes were missing.
