Help name UC’s Intranet

UC faculty and staff are invited to help select a name for the university’s new Intranet

The UC Intranet project, co-sponsored by the Office of the Provost and IT@UC, kicked off its pilot phase in mid-August. This first phase of the project will build the architecture of the Intranet along with a framework of initial sites, scheduled to launch in early November.

While the project team is busy building the pilot sites, UC faculty and staff are invited to help select the name of the university’s new Intranet.  After all the votes are in, UC leadership will review all the possibilities to decide on the new Intranet name.

Everyone who votes will be entered in a raffle to win a free month of parking, a pair of wireless headphones, or a UC branded fleece blanket.

Voting can be accessed through the Intranet naming survey (requires university credentials to login); voting is open to UC faculty and staff only.

The last day to vote will be Fri., October 4. The Intranet name will be announced in October.

For a more detailed description of the Intranet project and a timeline, please visit the Intranet project webpage. Please reach out to Michele Ralston or Brian Verkamp with any feedback or concerns.
