Local TV stations turn to UC expert for information on coronavirus

Concern grows as first cases show up in the United States

Concern about coronavirus is growing in the United States after the first case was found in Washington State on January 21. Two Cincinnati TV stations turned to Dr. Carl Fichtenbaum of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the UC College of Medicine to give their audiences more information about the virus.

Now a University of Cincinnati College of Medicine researcher is developing what is believed to be the first at-home diagnostic test.
