US News & World Report: UC expert helps differentiate between a cold and the flu

This time of the year is prime cold and flu season. Sometimes however, especially at the first sign of symptoms, it can be difficult to tell if you're sick with one or the other. U.S. News & World Report turned to several medical experts to help determine the different symptoms and appropriate treatment. One of those sources was Dr. Carl Fichtenbaum of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the UC College of Medicine.
