UC employee Baylee Schmitt featured in The Boston Globe for her art works made out of yarn.. Schmitt earned her master’s of fine arts degree at Miami University and now manages the University of Cincinnati printmaking lab at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) and teaches there as well.

Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, is proud to announce the 17th annual MLK Blood Drive, celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service. This year’s event is hosted in collaboration with the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated and the MLK Coalition on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025. Donate blood!
