Change the game beyond the court
Donate blood with Hoxworth Blood Center & score team socks this March!
Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, is calling all greater Cincinnatians to cheer for your favorite team with a slam dunk blood donation for local patients this March.
All blood and platelet donors who donate at any of Hoxworth’s seven Neighborhood Donor Centers or select mobile blood drives from March 1-31 will receive their choice of Xavier, Northern Kentucky University, or University of Cincinnati team socks!
“We’re excited for donors to have the opportunity to cheer on their favorite local team and support the local blood supply,” says David Oh, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Hoxworth Blood Center. “This time of year, we really start to see a drop in donor turnout, making it important for our Tri-State community to make and keep appointments as the weather turns warmer and spring breaks begin.”
Hoxworth operates seven Neighborhood Donor Centers in Anderson, Blue Ash, Clifton (Central), Ft. Mitchell, KY, West Chester (North), Tri-County, and Western Hills (West). They also have community blood drives seven-days a week in the Tri-state area including Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
Appointments are highly encouraged and walk-ins are welcome as schedules allow. Individuals can schedule their donation by calling 513-451-0910 or clicking the link below.
