UC Clermont announces new programs for fall 2025

College offers new pathways in health informatics, hospitality management and neuroscience

The University of Cincinnati Clermont College is thrilled to announce the launch of several new academic programs designed to meet the evolving needs of students and the job market.

Starting in fall 2025, students will have the opportunity to enroll in even more innovative programs that will prepare them for successful careers in high-demand fields. Program faculty bring extensive industry experience in all three offerings.

  • Health Informatics — The Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics, offered completely online beginning this summer, equips students with the skills to improve patient care by combining healthcare, information technology and data science. Professionals in this field work with systems that collect, store, manage and analyze health information to ensure medical records are accurate, secure and accessible. Students can begin work right after graduation or transfer seamlessly to UC’s online Master of Science in Health Informatics.
  • Hospitality Management — UC Clermont will also introduce both an online associate degree and certificate in hospitality management starting in fall 2025. This program is designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills to work and excel in the hospitality industry, preparing them for various roles in operating hotels, resorts and culinary establishments. Additionally, a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management will be available starting in fall 2026, allowing students to further their education and career prospects.
  • Neuroscience — Launched in spring 2025, the Associate of Science in Neuroscience provides students with a strong foundation in neuroscience, preparing them for further studies or careers in research, healthcare and related fields.

Prospective students are encouraged to apply early to secure their spot in these competitive programs. The application deadline for UC Clermont’s fall 2025 semester is July 1.

“We are incredibly excited to offer these new programs at UC Clermont. They reflect our commitment to providing students with relevant and high-quality education that meets the demands of today’s job market,” said Krista Clark, associate dean of Academic Affairs. “We believe these programs will open up numerous opportunities for our students and help them achieve their career goals.”
