Hoxworth, FC Cincinnati team up in August to host specialty blood drive and provide exclusive shirt

It’s back-to-school season, and that means it’s time to get back to your normal routine. Make it your GOAL to schedule an appointment to give blood or platelets this month, and you will SCORE exclusive gear! When you donate at any of Hoxworth's seven neighborhood donor centers and select mobile drives from Aug. 1-31, you will get an exclusive FC Cincinnati shirt while supplies last.

FC Cincinnati Specialty Drive is Aug. 22

Calling all FCC fans! You can grab some swag, help save lives and enjoy a unique experience at a blood drive at TQL Stadium in August. The drive is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 22 from 10 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. Limited appointments are available. You can schedule your donation at this link: https://hoxworth.org/fcc.html

  • LOCATION: In TQL stadium at the Medpace Tunnel Club, Field Level — 1508 John St., Cincinnati, OH 45214. Enter VIP Door, West Premium Lot.
  • FREE PARKING: Complimentary parking provided by Hamilton County and SP+ Parking in West End Garage, 1530 John St., Cincinnati, OH 45214. The gates will be up from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • THANK YOU GIFT: All donors will receive an FCC shirt, FCC scarf, voucher for Biggby coffee, PLUS a chance to win an autographed jersey or a four-pack of tickets to an upcoming game (2 winners)!
  • SPECIAL PHOTO OP: After donating, donors will have the opportunity to go out onto the area overlooking the field for a photo op.

Need for blood is constant

Every day, more than 400 donors are needed to supply lifesaving blood products to more than 30 hospitals across the Greater Cincinnati area. The need for blood is constant — for patients facing trauma, surgery, cancer and other critical conditions.

UC Speech & Hearing Clinic serves patients while acting as training site

The University of Cincinnati's Speech & Hearing Clinic provides graduate students in audiology and speech-language pathology with hands-on experience while delivering care to patients across the region. Located on the university's medical campus, the clinic serves patients of all ages and was recently featured on Spectrum News 1 Ohio.
