As a mother of four, I’ve carried the weight of loss, including my angel baby who passed five days after birth, while navigating some of life’s hardest battles. I experienced months of homelessness and unemployment, yet I still stood tall to keep pushing forward for my family.

Through every obstacle, I’ve chosen perseverance over defeat. UC gave me the culture, community, and empowerment I needed to believe that even in the hardest seasons, the struggle will not last forever.

I’ve always wanted to be a Bearcat, and today I stand as one—resilient, determined, and committed to showing others that no matter how heavy the road gets, you can rise.
