Students: Take a Tour through the Vibe!Zone
The dedication of University Pavilion will hold contests, food and prizes for UC students, as they enter the Vibe!Zone from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, May 9. The Vibe!Zone runs through floors one and two of University Pavilion, where students will go on a scavenger hunt through Educational Services, the Career Development Center and the Office of Disability Services.
Alsace Rodgers, program coordinator for Educational Services, says the Vibe!Zone will also hold some helpful tips for students, such as how to find a study advisor or how to get tutoring help, or how to craft the resume that will get the attention of employers. Its going to be a fun event that will also inform students about services that can build on their success in school. Whether they have questions about their major, study skills, job assistance or assistance with a disability, we can help keep them on a successful pathway to a college degree and career. says Rodgers.
