Friday Reception Opens University Hall Exhibit

On Friday March 18, 2005, the University Hall Galleries will be presenting their first exhibit of the 2005 season. The exhibit includes the work of nearly 20 local artists, many of whom will be featuring their work for the first time. The opening reception is scheduled from 5:30 - 8:00 PM. The event is free, and will take place at University Hall on the 4th and 6th floors. All the art featured is for sale. The exhibit concludes on May 18, 2005.

As a compliment to this event, Caminetto Restaurant, located next door to University Hall, in the Kingsgate Conference Center, is offering a special menu and pricing for the event. Please call 487-3800 to make your reservation.

Efforts to build more affordable housing in Cincinnati have created concerns for residents as low-income housing has been concentrated in some of the city’s poorest neighborhoods, WCPO reported. Gary Painter, PhD, the academic director of the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business real estate program and a professor of real estate, said a complaint against the city could lead to positive outcomes.
