- Her fashions designed to help athletes with asthma just won University of Cincinnati student Sarah Knight a prestigious international internship offered by Nike, Inc.

- In March 2004, fashion student Adrianne Gammie beat out, literally, thousands of other contestants across the nation to win a design contest/scholarship from the American Wool Council.
