Ralph & Helen Oesper Symposium & Banquet

The Department of Chemistry and The Cincinnati Section of the American Chemical Society announce the 2005 Ralph and Helen Oesper Banquet, Student Poster Session and Symposium honoring V. Adrian Parsegian, National Institutes of Health, October 14-15, 2005.

The Student Poster Session and Banquet will be held on Friday, October 14, at the Cincinnati Faculty Club. The banquet speaker will be Professor Emeritus Peter Rand,Brock University, speaking on "Scientific Delights"

The Oesper Symposium will be held on Saturday, October 15, 400-B TUC.

Information Security Roadshow spreads awareness

UC alum makes her mark in research, service

In 1960, as a young and eager statistician, Joan Reisch graduated from UC’s College of Arts and Sciences, and pursued a career in Texas at the Southwestern Medical Center where she’s held numerous roles as both faculty and staff. This year, Reisch was recognized for her career accomplishments and contributions with the Philanthropist of the Year Award by UC’s Alumni Association. This award is given to an alumnus who has been highly engaged in philanthropic activities with A&S, or has made a significant impact on the college.
