UC Hosts National Psychology Training Institute
UC is among only five prominent research institutions nationally to be selected to host a workshop sponsored by the worlds largest association of psychologists.
The University of Cincinnatis Department of Psychology is expected to greet nearly a dozen scholars from around the world as the department hosts an American Psychological Association (APA) Advanced Training Institute July 17-21. These annual summer institutes are geared toward training psychological scientists on emerging technologies as well as exploring the latest research methods in psychology. Steven Howe, acting department head of psychology, adds that the research methods explored in the UC workshop are also applied in fields such as medicine and engineering.
