New UC Mobile Service Offers Added Value to Your Cell Phone Usage
The University of Cincinnati community will have a new conduit for conducting business transactions with retailers around campus the cell phone.
Students and others from the UC community who are customers of UC Mobile are eligible to sign up for Mocapay, a new service that allows customers to pay for goods and services with their cell phones. So far, the number of retail outlets signed up to participate in the service numbers about 30, with the two local Kroger stores University Plaza and Queen City Centre due to debut the service in early 2008.
The UC community is just the second marketplace in the country where Mocapay is being rolled out, following an initial successful debut in Boulder, Colo.
