WLWT-TV: UC Class of 1970 Has Special Graduation Ceremony
UC closed its campus in the spring of 1970 due to unrest on college campuses around the state and nation. UC reopened in time for commencement, but many students had already gone home and were not able to return for graduation ceremonies. So, today, 40 years later, UC held special ceremonies for members of the class of 1970.

Ancient Maya blessed their ballcourts

Using environmental DNA analysis, researchers identified a collection of plants used in ceremonial rituals in the ancient Maya city of Yaxnohcah. The plants, known for their religious associations and medicinal properties, were discovered beneath a plaza floor upon which a ballcourt was built, suggesting the building might have been blessed or consecrated during construction.
