UC Clermont s Rachel Hays Named USCAA Co-Player of Week
For the second consecutive week, a member of the UC Clermont volleyball team has earned a national award.
Rachel Hays, a sophomore middle hitter from Amelia High School, has been named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Co-Player of the Week for the period September 5-11.
During this period, Hays recorded a total of 36 kills, 11 blocks and 3 service aces while registering a .509 hitting percentage. Hays contributions helped the Cougars go 2-1 during a tough week of competition.
This award is the second national honor Hays has received in her collegiate career.

The Cougars record is 10-4 after defeating Ohio State Mansfield this past weekend 25-18, 27-29, 25-15, 25-20.
