UC Students, Staff and Faculty Women are invited to AAPW s Women s Day Celebration
Join AAPW for an International Womens Day Celebration on Thursday, March 8, from 5:30 7:30 pm. The International Womens Day organization is calling on us to make a difference - think globally and act locally, and do our bit to ensure that the future for girls is bright, equal, safe and rewarding. We are doing this by celebrating womens achievements and encouraging young women, including our daughters and nieces, to aim high. Lets get together on this special day to support, encourage and inspire each other to advance women at UC and in our communities.
There will be an international food potluck, presentations by Carol Clinton, Jada Gaskin, and Rhonda Lindon-Hammon and Casey Frazee, followed by networking. The cost to attend is $5 for non-members. RSVP to amy.roberto@uc.edu
