'The Incredible, Unforgettable Bug Lab Experience with Dr. Insecta' at UC Clermont's Calico Children's Theatre

Calico Children’s Theatre presents The Incredible, Unforgettable Bug Lab Experience, with Dr. Insecta, on March 16 at 10:30 a.m. Yellow Bus Series performance for schools and home school groups and 7 p.m. and on March 17 at 10:30 a.m.

 

 

Dr. Insecta has enthralled audiences of all ages across America!  Experience real entomology magic as Dr. Insecta introduces you to some of the largest live insects on the planet.  Dr. Insecta’s Bug Lab is an interactive program that entertains, educates, and desensitizes fears we have about these incredible creatures that let us share their world.  Recommended for grades K-8.

Calico Children’s Theatre is a UC Clermont College initiative geared toward families with children ages 3-13 years of age.  All performances are held in the Krueger Auditorium on the UC Clermont College campus at 4200 Clermont College Dr. and are approximately one hour long.

The cost of tickets per performance is $3 for the Yellow Bus Series performance and $5 per person all other shows - this includes adults, children and students (children under two years of age are free).

After the Saturday performance join in the Calico Creativities Workshop, Bugs!Bugs!Bugs! also presented by Dr. Insecta on March 17 at 12:30 p.m.  Workshops are designed to complement theatre performances and engage participants through the artistic learning process.  This workshop takes place in the Snyder building, room S142 on the UC Clermont College campus and is approximately one hour long.

Ever wonder what bugs eat and where they live?  Meet Dr. Insecta and some of the “stars” of The Incredible, Unforgettable Bug Lab Experience and learn about the care, feeding and creating of habitats for bugs.  Participants will make their very own “bug habitat” to use at home!  Recommended for grades K-6. 

The cost of tickets per workshop is $7 per child, parents are free! Space is limited, order tickets today.

Information Security Roadshow spreads awareness
