Video: UC Fashion Design Alumna to Compete in "Project Runway All Stars"
When she appeared in "Project Runway" in 2009, University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) alumna Althea Harper, of Oakwood, a suburb of Dayton, Ohio, finished as the season's runner up.
Now, she'll have another chance to finish first. That's because 13 talented designers from past seasons of the Emmy Award-nominated "Project Runway" return to the workroom for another shot at being the last designer standing on the runway in the second season of Lifetimes "Project Runway All Stars," premiering Thursday, October 25, at 9 p.m.
Information from Lifetime describes Harper "as stunning as one of her own models, Altheas design aesthetic emphasizes draping, silhouette and tailoring that flatters the curves of a strong woman. Since Project Runway, Althea was invited to become part of the Tory Burch design team and she has since designed full-time for her own successful line Althea Harper. She is currently the head designer for Quincy.
