UC at the Table Examining National Technology Trends

Nelson C. Vincent, interim vice president for information technology and chief information officer, represents the University of Cincinnati as a member of the Leadership Board for CIOs (LBCIO) in Higher Education. This roundtable group comprised of leaders in the field and the Chronicle of Higher Education works to identify and assess trends in higher education information technology, including new and emerging technologies.

“It’s vitally important to the future of UC’s information technologies that we build and cultivate relationships with our peer institutions,” said Vincent. “I am pleased and honored to represent UC on the LBCIO, and I look forward to sharing what I learn with my colleagues. Together, we’re building a bright future full of innovative opportunities for our students, faculty and staff.”

The LBCIO and The Chronicle of Higher Education recently produced a white paper from the 2012 LBCIO Survey of Chief Information Officers. For more information, visit http://www.uc.edu/content/dam/uc/ucit/docs/general/LBCIO_Press.pdf
