Plan Ahead for UC Homecoming Activities as Parade Marches Along Uptown Streets Oct. 19
University of Cincinnati Homecoming
activities Oct. 19 will feature the annual
Homecoming parade around campus at 8:30 a.m.
and the
football game versus the University of Connecticut at noon
at UC's Nippert Stadium.
PARADE ROUTE AND STREET CLOSINGS
UCs Homecoming parade at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 19, will affect the following streets around campus:
- Calhoun Street, between Vine Street and Clifton Avenue, will close at 7:30 a.m.
- Clifton Avenue, between McMillan and Martin Luther King Jr. avenues, will close at 8:15 a.m.
- Eastbound traffic on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, between Clifton Avenue and Woodside Drive will be restricted prior to the start of the parade. The eastbound right-hand lane (the lane closest to campus) will be closed; the middle and left-hand lanes will remain open. Westbound traffic will remain unaffected.
Also, parking will be unavailable in the Clifton Court, Woodside and Calhoun garages starting at 7:30 a.m. until near the parades anticipated end by approximately 10 a.m. Get additional

The parade route starts at the corner of Calhoun and Clifton avenues, then proceeds north on Clifton Avenue, then east on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and ends at the corner of MLK and Woodside Drive. See the

All parking and regular driving routes will be reinstated near the Homecoming parades anticipated end by approximately 10 a.m.
