UC's AACRC Choir Celebrates the Season with Special Concert

The University of Cincinnati African American Cultural & Resource Center Choir presents a musical appreciation of the Thanksgiving season with a concert, “A Musical Harvest of Thanksgiving", beginning at

4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17, in the Tangeman University Center (TUC) Great Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

The concert will highlight a blend of contemporary, urban, and traditional gospel music with energetic dancing throughout the performance. Special guest performers are UC and AACRC choir alums Nigel Mask, Kevin Williams and Tamar Kinebrew as directors and soloists.

The program is sponsored by the African American Cultural and Resource Center (AACRC). Admission is free. As well, canned food goods will be taken at the door in support of the AACRC choir's Thanksgiving partnership with the Freestore Foodbank.
