UC Adopts New Training Program

The University of Cincinnati has introduced a new anti-harassment and discrimination training program for employees, offered through LawRoom. The new program replaces the Preventing Harassment in the Workplace, introduced in 2012.

“As part of our commitment to a safe and welcoming workplace, we are committed to providing anti-harassment and discrimination training to all employees, faculty and student workers” said Tanya Ladd, Director of Leadership Development in UC’s Human Resources Office. “All new hires with a start date of March 24, 2014 and later who did not complete the former course as of April 1 will be assigned the new course offerings.”

New UC faculty and staff will receive an email with a link with directions on how to access the required programs, Ladd said. Existing faculty and staff will be assigned courses as appropriate to their roles and to meet federal and state requirements.

Questions about training assignments, should be directed to Evelyn Keenan, Leadership Development Coordinator at evelyn.keenan@uc.edu

Questions or concerns regarding a matter of harassment or discrimination should be directed to oeohelp@uc.edu
