SIS Implementation Project Update
Through August, the Student Information System Implementation Project Team, located on the Victory Parkway Campus, will partner with student services experts across the university to lead the next phase of the implementation process known as Fit/Gap.
The Fit/Gap allows the university to carefully review current work processes in areas such as registration, bursar and financial aid to identify how the new system, powered by Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, meets (a fit) or doesnt meet (a gap) the universitys current business processes.
Data gathered during Fit/Gap will allow the university to make educated, data-driven decisions about how best to configure the new system and associated business practices.
The SIS Implementation Project Team is committed to delivering an efficient, cost-effective and student-focused system, said Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Beverly Davenport. As the backbone to our universitys operations, this new system will play a pivotal role in the universitys Third Century of academic and research excellence.
