Campus Rec Offering Free Personal Training Session
Purchase five sessions with a personal trainer during the month of October, and Campus Recreation will add on one, free 45-minute training session. Training sessions can be purchased at the member services desk at both the CARE/Crawley Fitness Center and the Campus Rec Center. Campus Recs certified, experienced trainers hold nationally recognized certifications through the following organizations: American Council on Exercise (ACE®), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM®), National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA®), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), as well as others.
Colin, a registered nutritionist, is just one of Campus Recs personal trainers. He is certified through NETA, and has a Bachelor's degree in Fitness and Nutrition as well as a Master's degree with an emphasis in Sports Nutrition. Colin has been competing in triathlons since 2005 and has earned All-American honors from USA Triathlon since 2008.

TREMOR is a performance art project created in response to Brianna Matzke's essential tremor diagnosis. It features a world premiere piano concert and panel discussion at 6 p.m. on May 5, 2024 at the American Sign Museum. The project also includes an art opening, with musical responses from local new-music ensemble concert:nova on April 28 at The Well.
