Faculty/Staff: Get Tax Credit for Your UC Donation

Faculty and staff donations to UC were at an all-time high last fiscal year. The FY ’14 Faculty & Staff Campaign was a great success, raising nearly $14 million and engaging more than 66 percent of our active, retired and former employees.

Here are a few tips to be sure you get tax credit for your generosity!

How to report your donation to the IRS:

  • UC faculty and staff who made a donation through payroll deduction may use the last UC pay stub of 2014 as your official tax statement. Your final pay stub of 2014 will show your total donation for the year.

  • If you made an outright gift (credit card, check or cash), your gift confirmation serves as your tax statement.

If you have any questions, contact the UC Foundation Office of Donor Relations at 513-556-6781.
